Cementing Spacer O-SP

Description and Primary Function:

O-SP is a kind of off-white powder which can dissolve in water easily. The base liquid formulated with it performs excellent in suspending and shearing dilution. The weighted spacers mixed by the base liquid, micro silica powder and high weight additive can effectively separate the mud and slurry to enhance the mud-displacing efficiency.

Secondary Effects：

O-SP with OCW-1L as the pre-flush which is widely used in cementing the oil and gas well whatever its mud is WBM or OBM.O-SP as a suspension agent has improved the stability of cement slurry. It can also be used in completion to prevent blockage during logging, reduce the drafting processes during tripping.

Interaction with Other Additives:

It is compatible with other additives, adapt to all kinds of water.

Method of Application:

O-SP dissolved in water for spacer. It is first mixed in water by the blender for at least half an hour before adding in the heavy weight additive. The spacer needs to be stirred for 20 minutes. In formulating salt-water spacer, salt should be added after weighting agents. O-SP dry mixed in cement as a suspension agent.

Packing and Storage:

Packed with paper or other special industrial package for powders. Store in a cool place, avoid putting together with other materials. Keep it away from a long-time direct sunshine, ignition sources and heat. Two years of storage period. If overdue, need to retest before use it.

Precautions:

Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety gloves. Avoid inhalation. Do not contact with eyes, skin and clothing. When it contacts skin and eyes, rinse with clean water for 15 minutes. If inhaled, move to fresh air. If swallowed, immediately wash out mouth with warm water and call a physician.
